Are the Orange County Choppers still around?

The Orange County Choppers was started by a man named Paul Teutul, Sr. He created his custom motorcycle business in 1999. His business was located in the Newburgh area of Orange County, New York. Interestingly, there are many business ties to Orange County, California. This business ties both residents of Orange County, New York and Orange County, California together. There have been a few reality shows who have featured these customized motorcycles including the popular show American Chopper.

The West Coast Chopper company was started by a man named Jesse James in 1990. It first was only selling T-shirts and stickers. However, it did begin customizing motorcycles in the Long Beach area. West Coast Choppers rose to popularity when it captured its own reality TV show. Jesse James moved his business to Texas which ultimately ended the show.
